New series will focus on the impact of America’s agriculture and international affairs programs in communities across the Midwest

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The U.S. Global Leadership Coalition (USGLC) and Cargill are launching a new Executive Roundtable series focused on America’s agriculture and international affairs programs and the critical role they play in strengthening American global leadership, helping to create jobs, feeding the hungry, and reducing poverty across the Midwest and around the world. The series will bring a diverse set of community stakeholders together – from elected officials and business leaders to non-profit organizations and community leaders – and is part of the USGLC’s ongoing Heartland partnership with Cargill.

“When businesses partner with nonprofits and the U.S. government on our international programs through forums like the USGLC Executive Roundtable series – together we can make a real impact. Over the next year, this virtual series will engage elected officials, community leaders, and business and non-profit executives across 13 states and spark conversations on how America’s global engagement impacts the health, economy, and security of local communities.

Cargill has served as USGLC’s Heartland Chair since June 2019.
