Jared joins the USGLC after several internships, including with the Borgen Project and the League of Conservation Voters. Jared recently graduated from Penn State University with an M.A. in International Affairs with a concentration in International Public Policy and Development. While completing his master’s degree, he studied in Kisumu, Kenya where he conducted field-testing of an app to connect rural farmers with produce buyers and organized and led meetings with Kenyan agribusiness professionals. Jared completed his undergraduate degree at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro where he was involved in a number of student organizations. Jared is originally from Concord, North Carolina.
