Julian joins the USGLC from previous experience as a frontline advocate for the D.C. Statehood movement serving the District of Columbia Government within the Douglass Commonwealth Statehood Coalition. Previously, he served within grassroots campaigns, local & national non-profits, enlisted in the U.S. Air Force Reserves, worked with several elected officials at the local & federal levels in addition to providing project support at the U.S. Institute of Peace. Julian has managed direct support of field and advocacy operations; logistics; review financial data information for a large academic institution and planned onsite event production. Lastly, Julian provided direct support for constituent services and case specific research for a Senior member of the U.S. Democratic Leadership. Julian holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs from Howard University and is a proud DC native.
