WASHINGTON, D.C. – The U.S. Global Leadership Coalition (USGLC), in celebration of African American leadership in foreign policy, honored Representative James E. Clyburn (SC-06), the first African American to serve multiple terms as Majority Whip and who is currently serving as the Assistant Democratic Leader in the U.S. House of Representatives. The celebration took place during the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s Annual Legislative Conference.
