Last Thursday, USGLC’s Florida efforts brought us to West Palm Beach to discuss the importance of the International Affairs Budget to Florida’s Security and Economy. With our fantastic West Palm Beach partner, Orbis Strategy Group, we hosted a luncheon featuring Lt. General Dan Christman of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. After providing the audience with thoughtful and inspiring remarks that ended with a stirring reference to Les Miserables, General Christman had a conversation with the audience moderated by the USGLC’s own Dr. John K. Glenn. The luncheon, USGLC’s first foray into West Palm Beach, was strongly attended and included former members of the U.S. House of Representatives and a current member of the Florida State Legislature as well West Palm Beach community and business leaders. The USGLC is excited to be expanding into new parts of Florida and is looking forward to returning to West Palm Beach in the future.
