The U.S. Global Leadership Campaign will host the President of the United States on May 31, 2007 at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center to deliver remarks on the United States International Development Agenda.

WHAT: The U.S. Global Leadership Campaign will host the President of the United States to deliver remarks on the United States International Development Agenda. The U.S. Global Leadership Campaign (USGLC) is a broad-based, nationwide coalition comprised of 400 businesses, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and community leaders that advocates for a strong U.S. International Affairs Budget. Members of the USGLC – a vibrant network of business, community and NGO leaders from across the country – advocate in our nation’s capital and work to educate and engage the American public around the country on the importance of the U.S. International Affairs Budget.
WHY: President George W. Bush’s remarks will be delivered in advance of his attendance at the upcoming G-8 Summit in Heiligendamm, Germany, on June 5-8.
