Rifa joins the USGLC after graduating from Trinity Washington University where she received her B.A. in Communications. While studying as an undergraduate, Rifa completed several policy-based internships including The National Association of Workforce Boards, as well as The Education Trust where she produced social media content, managed internal blogs, and supported the communications team. Prior to joining USGLC, Rifa worked as an Executive Associate for Montgomery College alongside The Achieving Collegiate Excellence and Success (ACES) program promoting equity in higher education. With family origins in Jakarta, Indonesia she is bilingual speaking Bahasa, and calls Silver Spring, Maryland home.
