Ryan serves as the Director of Membership and Board Relations, leading fundraising efforts, stewarding USGLC’s Board of Directors, and managing the day-to-day operations of the Development department. Prior to joining USGLC Ryan served as an Economic Officer at the U.S. Embassy in Bogota, Colombia. He oversaw climate, energy and infrastructure portfolios and co-led the Embassy’s Environmental Working Group. Ryan also spent more than 15 years working in the nonprofit sector in education and health policy. Most recently, Ryan served as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of The Washington Center. Ryan holds a Bachelor’s of Science from Binghamton University and an M.B.A. from the University of Maryland – College Park. Ryan lives with his wife and two children in Arlington, VA.
